Home on the Range

Day 44 – Rawlins to Jeffrey City, WY – 69 miles

Found the original Home on the Range, WY and we are staying here (for a night at least); great folks!

Roadside love signs to the wife

Historic site - Pony Express Split Rock Relay Station

Overnight spot in Jeffrey City, WY - Byron runs the pottery business that is stocked not 20 miles from my home in Austin, TX - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Monking-Bird-Pottery/203774126327554

Vikki, the new management, is VERY kind to cyclist; apparently there was some trouble with the old owner who disliked us two wheeled road hippies

Dollar wall; Hell's Angel included

Gus: a little timid at first but warms up quickly

After hours party with the town; Byron warming up the bonfire

Meredith, Jon, Mark, Bob, and The Painters (with White Lighting)

The gang, plus Vikki on the far left and Gus in the middle

Great starry night

    • Sorry Margaret, Mark did have it right but for some reason I insisted it was Meredith; I will update the pic next time I get access to a computer with wifi. Thanks for the great sing along!
